郑如薇（杨丞琳 饰）和男友汤有彦（颜毓麟 饰）相恋多年，彼此之间感情十分稳定。某一日，身为企业白领的郑如薇遇到了一个千载难逢的升职机会，只是，得到这个机会的她要前往上海工作，这也就意味着，她和汤有彦必须开始一段充满了未知和痛苦的异地恋情。离开或留下，郑如薇不知道该如何选择。
