有一天，一个遥远魑魅的声音传来，紧接着美丽而又不祥的生命体fostom从苍穹之间袭来。
其实早在29年前，龙宫岛乃至日本就已不存在于地球的版图之上，这一切的谜团随着危险生物Festom的到来逐渐展开。一切的伪装被卸下，战火开始燃烧，这里将不再平静……
龙宫岛上的少年真壁一骑在Fafner驾驶员丧生的情况下，无奈的踏上了驾驶巨人Fafner保护这块乐园的旅途。
是坚决保护最后的乐园？还是懦弱的逃避现实？
一骑紧握好友总士的手，开始了不知终点的战斗之路……
